ABOUT US

The Croatian Association of Health and Safety Coordinators in Construction was founded in order to bring together experts in the field of occupational safety in construction in one place and to work together for the purpose of promoting, progressing and modernizing the aforementioned field of construction and occupational safety.

The objectives of the Association are:

• raising awareness of the importance of safety at work in construction and the importance of Health & Safety coordinators in the construction process, both within the construction industry and in the broader social and economic context;
• gathering and mutual cooperation of experts, scientists and educational workers who work and act in the professional, scientific-research and educational field of occupational safety in construction with the purpose of developing and improving their competences;
• protecting the rights and dignity of occupational safety coordinators during design and construction, and providing advisory assistance to members;
• encouraging the development and support of activities, especially of young experts, scientists and educational workers in the field of Health & Safety in construction;
• promoting the application of modern professional and scientific achievements in order to improve techniques, technologies and processes in occupational safety in the construction industry in order to reduce the danger to the life and health of workers;

concern for ethics of experts in the field of Health & Safety in construction, especially Health & Safety coordinators.
